Sgt. Nathan Hillman, 30, of the second Heavily clad Unit Battle Group was the servicemember killed in a “shooting occurrence” in a Stronghold Stewart fabricating, the Military affirmed Tuesday.

“On Monday morning, the Straightforward Family lost one of our own in a shocking and unforeseen manner,” Hillman’s commandant, Col. Ethan J. Diven, said in a proclamation. “With most profound distress our hearts are with the Families and units engaged with the episode.”
Hillman was the sole casualty of the shooting Monday.
Authorities have not delivered some other subtleties but rather affirmed that a suspect has been captured. The supposed shooter was captured at Stronghold Stewart and moved to the US Armed force Criminal Examination Division’s authority.
