There’s no question that the only thing DC Comics loves more than superheroes is love, romance, and all the horrors of Valentine’s Day. That’s right, to help celebrate the arrival of Valentine’s Day 2020, DC Universe has created a selection of digital Valentine cards embracing both DC’s history and heart-stopping horror for the throwback comic fan in your life.

While a subscription to the streaming DC Universe service may be on your Valentine’s shopping list already, fans won’t need to subscribe to get in on these comic-inspired cards. Just decide on your favorites (or claim them all) from the selections below, then send online, or print out and deliver the old fashioned way.

DC Universe confirms there will be nine Valentine’s Day comic cards in total, with three being released daily from today, February 11th through February 13th. We’re pleased to offer a sneak preview of the first three, to be downloaded, sent, or printed out for your own Valentine(s). Check them out below:

While the cards themselves are available to DC and comic fans everywhere free of charge, the comic books which inspired these heartwarming tokens of affection are exclusive to DC Universe users. But should a romantic subscription in your Valentine’s honor be in the cards (pun absolutely intended) then the recently released DC’s Crimes of Passion anthology can’t be recommended highly enough. But considering the streaming service has done the work to make decades of comics accessible, why not take in Superman’s “different kind of St. Valentine’s story” originally featured in 1944’s Action Comics #71? Or Harley Quinn’s Valentine’s Day Special now that she’s back in theaters? And of course, the cosmically incredible Mysteries of Love in Space (where else are you going to see the romantic intrigue of Darkseid competing for Lois Lane’s affection?).

For those interested, subscriptions to DC Universe are available at $7.99 per month, with annual subscriptions priced at $74.99. Granting access to DC’s expansive comic book catalogue, the latest developments from DC Entertainment via DC Daily, an online encyclopedia of DC Comics history, and of course, new episodes of DC Universe shows like Young Justice, Titans, Harley Quinn, Stargirl, and more premiering exclusively on the streaming service.
